Starting from today, midPoint, the leading open source identity management and governance platform, will be supported and developed by an artificial intelligence (AI) technology named midAI that we’ve been developing over the years to handle the final touches on the upcoming release. Yes, you read that right. Our trustworthy human developers won’t be required to work on midPoint. Instead, we are turning to cutting-edge technology to take over all aspects of midPoint’s development and even support.
But what about our developers, you ask? Well, we have sent them on a well-deserved holiday! We believe this is the perfect opportunity for them to take some time off and recharge their batteries. They have worked hard over the years to build a platform that we are all proud of. Now it’s time for them to take a break and enjoy some hard-earned rest and relaxation while midAI takes over their responsibilities, coding non-stop for developers to review and accept the results later. Our team will return to work refreshed and re-energized, ready to tackle new challenges and push the boundaries of what’s possible.
We asked the developers what their day looks like now. “With my 30 years of experience in software development, I feel young again at the age of 29. The work doesn’t seem so stressful at all when you just don’t have to do it.” This was the reply of one of them while he was sipping a pina colada on the beach. Another said, “I am glad I can finally watch a new show someone mentioned to me the other day called Game of Thrones.” “Contrary to popular opinion, I actually enjoyed writing technical documentation and miss it. Therefore, be on the lookout for my upcoming novel “Fantastic bugs and where to find them in the forest”.” Another one added, “I’m still trying to get up from the computer, but it feels scary and very unnatural.”
