Become a part of development team responsible for integration connectors for midPoint – open-source identity governance and administration platform.
One of midPoint duties is synchronization of user accounts, entitlements and access rights across whole IT infrastructure. To do it, it uses so-called connectors that translates midPoint API calls to APIs of connected system. Even though it may sounds straightforward, in practice the connector development is challenging when you aim for professional-grade results.
The connectors are designed to be generic, ready to be deployed in different deployments and with configuration options that will support wide range of use-cases. Therefore, it’s necessary to understand how connected systems operate, learn their APIs and identify the best integration patterns. Also, don’t forget about security, performance and scalability as well as other practical issues such as rate limiting and asynchronous processing.
The position offers other challenges as well. You will contribute to the evolution of ConnId – open-source framework for the connectors, where your ideas will be crucial for addressing integration challenges of modern IT services. Also, you will collaborate with midPoint developers to assure smooth integration of connectors to midPoint platform.

- Be responsible for whole connector development process: from architecture, though coding, testing and maintenance;
- Participate on design and development of broader ConnId connector framework and midPoint integration layer;
- Stay on top of technical innovations; use AI to produce secured and maintainable code;
- Build AI powered frameworks that enable end users to get the best from AI with a reasonable safe-guards in place;
- Collaborate with other team members and customers to define, gather, and analyze functional and non-functional requirements and to deliver the best results;
- Be the person responsible for your time management and workflow to meet agreed deadlines;
- Maintain high standards for code quality and refactor the code reasonably.

Java & Software Development
Minimum 3 years, ideally 5+ years of experience with projects of any size.
System Integration
Experience with various APIs and standards used for system integration.
Problem Solving
A creative approach towards problems and the ability to find a solution.
Enthusiastic Attitude
A passion for technology and willingness to understand the details of how things work.
Continuous Improvement
Highly motivated to continuously learn and improve, with the ability to stay up-to-date on the latest industry developments and technologies.
Education
A bachelor’s degree (and higher) and/or a proven track record.
Language
English skills on the B2 level or higher.

The ability to work independently, in a team, and with customers.
