On June 11 (Thursday), from 14:00-15:30, Evolveum’s Head of Engineering Slávek Licehammer will explore why identity governance is often overlooked in research and education authentication and authorization infrastructure (AAI) initiatives that otherwise focus heavily on authentication and federation. He will explain how the lack of visibility and centralized control creates challenges around access management, security, and regulatory compliance, and why IGA is a necessary complement to modern AAI. The talk will also introduce the open source IGA platform midPoint and show how its AI-powered features can simplify system integration and lower barriers to adopting identity governance in R&E environments.Taking the stage by storm
