We are looking for testing leader who wants to participate on unique professional open source product. Yes, that’s right. We will pay you to develop an open source product. Professionally, full time.

We develop an open source identity management system called midPoint. We have created midPoint some time ago. We maintain and improve it ever since. MidPoint is implemented completely in Java with Spring, Spring Boot and Apache Wicket. We are looking for a person that would lead the testing of midPoint. We need someone to set up test frameworks, maintain the tests, set up test strategies and coordinate the testing cycles. We are looking for someone that can coordinate the work but also to do the actual work. We are not looking for a tester to do manual testing. This is all about test automation and development of automated testing.

Education requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (and higher)
  • IT specialization
  • English skills on B2 level or higher

Personality requirements

Have will to travel, learn about new technologies, be responsible, be flexible and independent. At the end of everything applicant must be a team player with communicative skills.

  • Java development, at lease a passive knowledge of Java platform
  • 3 years of experience in software testing or software development
  • Balanced mix of testing frameworks, scripting languages and testing tools
  • Willing to travel and self-development
