Techniker Krankenkasse: TK-Key – Custom IDM Processes Built with midPoint

After years of closed source IdM, the Techniker Krankenkasse migrated to midPoint starting in 2020. Since then they built and extended their custom application to provide over 25 user-facing processes based on midPoint as their IdM engine. It manages 51 connected systems, 17,000 human identities, 1,000 non human identities, over 64,000 roles and over 90,000 completed user processes in 2025. Emil Militzer and Henrik Schulz will showcase the architectural overview and highlights of our midPoint-overlay application and deployment (e.g. org scoped assignments, our usage of personas, automated testing, organizational default assignments, PIM roles and many more).
