DAASI International: Extending MidPoint with flexible Self-Service UI Using a SCIM Overlay

MidPoint’s default self-service UI often overwhelms non-technical users by exposing backend complexity. This creates friction for adoption and increases support overhead, despite midPoint’s powerful backend capabilities. The accessibility of midPoint to these users can be enhanced by using a more intuitive and customized user interface. During the talk led by Marc Füller, attendees will see a live demo of the UI and the SCIM overlay architecture, in addition to getting a starter kit to deploy a demo environment locally.

Marc received his degree in business informatics from DHBW Ravensburg in 2011 and since then has worked as a system administrator, consultant, and software developer in various fields of IT. Since he joined DAASI International as a consultant for identity and access managment in May 2021, he has managed and implemented various IAM projects with midPoint.
