Collection of resource capabilities. Each element in this collection defines a specific resource capability. Stardard midpoint capabilities are defined in a separate namespace. But that is not a closed set. Resource may also specify additional capabilities. If the code that is processing capabilities encounters unknown capability it must ignore it. Each capability should have boolean propery "enabled" with true default value. This is used in the configured capabilities section to disable individual capabilities. This part defines native and configured capabilities. The effective capabilities of the resource are determined by application of configured capabilities to native capabilities.

  The capabilities natively supported by the connector without any simulation or any other workaround. It is stored in the repository as a cache of the real capabilities (connector can always produce the capabilities if the resource is online). If this element is not present then the data were not yet retrieved from the resource. If it is present, but the inner capability list is empty then the connector provides no capabilities. The value of this element indicates what the connector can do.

  The configured capabilities of the resource. This part contains "tweaks" of the native capabilities. Some of the native capabilities may be turned off, other capabilities may be simulated. If this element is not present at all then the native capabilities in the unchanged form are assumed. The value of this element is not generated, it should be set by the administrator. The value of this element indicates administrator decisions what connector capabilities to use, what capabilities to simulate and how to simulate them. The value of this element indicates what the connector is allowed to do.
