Evolveum is an independent software vendor (ISV). We develop software product and maintain them. We are not selling the software, we are not directly delivering it and we do not provide complete end-to-end solution. All of that is done by our partner companies and we have absolutely no interest in competing with our partners. We believe that an ecosystem of smaller flexible companies can provide much better solution than one giant company.

We are experts in software development field and general identity management. Our partners operate locally, they know the end customers well and they know how to deliver a suitable and cost efficient solution. It is an Evolveum partner that delivers the final solution - and we support the partners on the product side as much as we can.

We understand very well that the story does not end by the deployment. In fact, the story just starts for the end customer. We know that the most important thing is to maintain the system, to keep it working and to keep it efficient. Our subscription agreements provide an assurance of continuity. The subscription contains software support, consultation services and also a "donation" that is used to fund further product development. Again, we work with partners to deliver support services. Evolveum only provides 3rd line support services to partners. The partners provide their own support services under their usual support contracts to the end customers. This makes perfect sense, as we know the product and partners know the customer, so our forces must be combined to provide efficient software support.
